THE DOCK EXCHANGE / PRICE, TIME, PATIENCE

Clearing Quay

Secure the cargo before the last tide.

A procurement mandate

Buy 8 cargo units before 10 order-flow waves end, using at most 80 credits. You buy only; rival buyers and suppliers trade in a real price-time orderbook.

Limit bid: state the most you will pay per unit. A crossing bid fills at the resting ask price; leftovers wait in line. Higher bids fill first, then older bids at the same price. Buy now: consumes the cheapest asks immediately. Cancel: releases reserved credits, but a replacement joins the back of its price queue.

Advance a wave to bring new orders. You can plan freely between waves. Credits reserved by your bid cannot be spent twice. Cheap orders may miss the deadline.
